Happy Halloween!

Here are our monkies. The boys have on Curious George masks. They didn't want to wear them anymore after about 2 houses. One person thought they were "cute goblins".

Here are the "3 little bears" as many people called them.

Max has already declared that next year he wants to be a fat duck.

Leo's Cave

I went to wake up Leo from his nap today. This is what I found.

As I unpeeled the masterpiece...

I don't know whether to be impressed or concerned.

Sweet dreams little one.

HELP!

The kids were outside playing this morning while John and I were hanging out inside. I heard Max yell "HELP! HELP!" This is not an uncommon utterance from Max, so I was not too concerned. I looked out the window and I saw Leo halfway down the slide - on his stomach - head first. Max was standing on the ground next to the slide holding Leo in place. I assumed they were arguing so I ignored the cries. The pleading continued and now Leo was crying out for help as well. I opened the window and asked "What is all the yelling about?" Max said "Help, Mommy! There is dog poop on the bottom of the slide and Leo is going to run over it!" I ran out the door scooped up Leo and put him on the ground. Max let out the biggest sigh of relief. Poor guy had used his super human strength (the kind you hear about when people can lift cars off of people in accidents) to keep Leo off the poop. Max and Leo are typical brothers, they have their good times and bad times. It is so nice to know that Max would throw himself on the slide between Leo and poop.

Katie Wearing Safety Googles

I don't think these are regulation goggles. I'm pretty sure they require some sort of lens.

John 8 Months

John's 8 months and still adorable.

Sleepy Dog

Here is our sweet Elsie coming out of anesthesia.

Girls First

Leo told me today that I was wrong, "Max was not the first baby in your belly. Katie was first, because girls are always first."
