Max's favorite part of his trip, Great Grandma Adney. (His second favorite thing was the keypad security entry into the Bickford house and was just a bit disappointed that there was no picture taken of that.)

Another highlight was Ebony. She was their waitress every morning at breakfast.
And who could forget the Jazzy. Max drove the Jazzy all over Great Grandma's living room. One day I called Max and I could tell he was pre-occupied so I told him to go ahead and put Bobby on. He said, "Okay... Hold on... Okay... we're almost there. Just one more second. Okay. Here's Daddy." He had "driven" the phone across the living room to give to Bobby. I love that he is wearing the seatbelt.
Bobby is working from home today. After breakfast Bobby went back into the guest room with his laptop to work. I heard some arguing and crying and the kids all came running out so I sent them outside to play. Later, I walked passed the guest room and this is what I saw in the adjoining bathroom. Who would not want an audience while working? (They ADORE their Daddy.)
Max comes running in the house while Leo is outside yelling desperately for help. I ran to the window to see that Leo was somehow tethered to the fence. I ran out at once to free him. As I approached I could see that his confinement involved his fire boots, some irrigation tubing and handcuffs (thanks Uncle Mike). I bent down to begin untying the labyrinth of knots when Leo batted my hands away. He said "I untie it!" Once Leo was freed I walked him inside and called Max over. I told Max "Don't ever tie your brother to the fence!" Leo looked up at me and said "Max no do it, I tie myself to fence."
May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May the joy for living for one another trip a smile from your lips, a twinkle from your eye. And when eternity beckons, at the end of a life heaped high with love, May the good Lord embrace you with the arms that have nurtured you the whole length of your joy-filled days. May the gracious God hold you both in the palm of His hands.
